Port of Naha - Okinawa - Japan

The job as an enormous challenge because of the very poor condition of the steel sheet piles. To repair the quay, extended experience in the renovation of corroded quay walls was necessary.

The steel sheet piles were protected down to 3 meters below the mean water level.

In total, 84 holes were plugged below the water level and 50 outpans were remodeled above water level.
