Humidur is selected for its long durability (100 years) with a layer thickness of 800μm. Multiple parts were fabricated at Max Bögl Germany and shipped towards Amsterdam after the coating process was completed. The parts are used to build the North-South Subway terminals in the city of Amsterdam. After installing the steel parts, most of them will be covered in concrete casing. Some steel parts will be covered with fire retarding paint after installing.
